ABOUT ME

I'm a web developer living in Essex. I used to work at a great digital agency - Moore-Wilson - in Salisbury, as a Web Developer working on diverse web projects.

I'm creative, have always been, and I greatly appreciate creativity - in whatever form. Websites are not just informative, but an expression of one's creativity. I love making cool websites; I derive a great deal of satisfaction from it.

I do mostly front-end development and a few other things, but I aspire to be a Full-Stack Developer - even though front-end would always take first place.

Fun facts

I like travelling (but not packing); I once turned a casual run into a half-marathon (I've become rather lazy now); Pastimes include movies, video games (or puzzles) and learning/practising code; I've never been drunk in my life (people still don't believe me); Used to be part of a multi-genre dance group; Up to the age of 20, I wanted to be a medical doctor.

WHAT CAN I DO?

Drupal

Can build functional & aesthetic websites based on Drupal 7 or 8. 

WordPress

Can also develop sites based on the WordPress open source content-management platform. 

Prototypes etc
  • Can create interactive demo sites for preview purposes
  • Can create static/simple websites - basically having information that wouldn't be updated or would be rarely updated
  • Can translate web designs into prototypes that could be used in building dynamic websites using content-management software/systems.

  • Developing new features on and looking after the corporate website - stroke.org.uk
  • Custom module development and integration with APIs
  • Maintenance of the development, testing and live servers

February - October 2017

While I was there,

  • I developed pitch demo sites for biddings
  • Developed functional and aesthetic Drupal 7 & 8 sites following design prototypes, and using proper coding practices and efficient development ideas
  • Developed WordPress sites for clients and ensured relevant documentation and notes were made to help with post-deployment and launch support
  • Some sites I played a major role in developing include Team Archie, North Essex IAPT and Noclor (not launched yet)

Community Playlink Children's Charity, Southampton

  • Developed a new website for this children's charity using WordPress (www.community-playlink.com). Officially, I stopped working there in 2015, but I still provide support where required.
